The Beach That Makes You Old is an interactive fiction game about the titular "care" facility and the patients/prisoners within. You play as someone on the outside who gets contacted by someone on the inside. You learn, you listen, you go through bureaucratic nonsense. It's gotta end eventually, right?

Play time is about 45 minutes. Click on colored text to go to new passages. You'll be prompted to type in specific codes throughout the game, as well as answer open-ended questions. I don't have access to any information you input.

Is this one of those things where you play through multiple times to save all the patients, or is there only one playthrough?
there is only one ending! unless you missed details in previous playthroughs, multiple playthroughs won't get you anything different
this was really neat! I super don't get why that's the name of this at all though. Why this name? A beach didn't seem to be mentioned.
thank you! the title is a reference to a meme about the movie Old (dir. M. Night Shyamalan) which features the characters going to a beach where they age rapidly in the span of a few hours (or something like that, i've never seen it). basically my partner and i joke frequently that my chronic health issues mean my body is that of a 70 year old person even though i'm fairly young, which turned into my partner making a joke about how my body went to "the beach that makes you old" which then became the title of this game!
haha! Nice, I feel that so much. Like, I have sleep disorders and one thing I've been trying to do recently is if I feel tired after like 11pm, I go on to bed. It suuuuucks and makes me feel like I'm like 50 years old and a nurse is going like "let's get you to bed, grand" [what is a neutral pa/ma? lol. na?]. but the nurse and the grandna are the same person so it's so hard
then sometimes I still sleep an entire day even if I go to bed at a reasonable time and I feel old then too. I'm yelling at my brain like "I'm 28!!! why do I need 16 hours of sleep, body!?"
just put me in the retirement home already lol
